Hello, my name is Pedro Juan Hernandez. Welcome to my Instructional Technology internet portfolio. I'm an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT) in Orange County, Virginia. One of my many responsibilities is to work with teachers to help them "appropriately" integrate technology into their classroom instruction. I like saying that I've been in education for 27 years because I've been involved with something instructional from the age of 2. I have always had a passion for education and will be a life-long learner and teacher. I have been an educator for 6 years.
I graduated from Louisa County High School in 1998, from Piedmont Virginia Community College in 2001 with an Associates of Science Degree, and from Radford University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education Pre-K to grade 6). Upon Graduation at Radford University, I was honored to receive 2004's Most Outstanding Elementary Educator Award and a coveted Radford City Public Schools teaching position. I moved back to Central Virginia in 2005 and have been working for Orange County Public Schools since.

This summit has allowed me to hear a wide variety of topics/presenters that I would never have had an opportunity too.
GREAT interaction among participants...highly thought provoking presentations thus far that have facilitated that interaction!
Great conference. Love the format, the tools, the sharing. I never stop learning from these events and how simple Steve and others make this seem.
If you ever wish to become an innovative leader, educator and one of the most influential person in your life, community and way beyond the magazine, this conference is just the gate to that! Am happy to have been part of it since its invention!
