I am a systems thinker who loves helping teachers.
I did an undergraduate degree in engineering at Stanford, and then worked for technology companies for more than 15 years. I have been through hundreds, if not thousands, of technology implementation projects in the K12 environment. When I was at Cisco, I helped start the first Cisco Networking Academy at Thurgood Marshall High School in San Francisco and helped many Northern California schools and districts establish their first connections to the internet.
I learned about Edmodo while working on my Master of Arts in Learning Technology at Pepperdine University. I have a passion for helping solve problems related to achievement in Algebra, and love working on STEM projects. Here is a link to my Action Research Project. http://web.me.com/lejla.sesticfahey/Jill_Flor...
I hope I can help lots of schools and districts build capacity and community by leveraging Edmodo to its fullest extent.
This summit has allowed me to hear a wide variety of topics/presenters that I would never have had an opportunity too.
GREAT interaction among participants...highly thought provoking presentations thus far that have facilitated that interaction!
Great conference. Love the format, the tools, the sharing. I never stop learning from these events and how simple Steve and others make this seem.
If you ever wish to become an innovative leader, educator and one of the most influential person in your life, community and way beyond the magazine, this conference is just the gate to that! Am happy to have been part of it since its invention!
