I have spent over twenty years in K-12 public schools in Arkansas as a classroom teacher, network system administrator, and instructional technology director. My passion has been making technology easy for the teachers and accessible to the students with a focus on connecting technology to the curriculum. At the Authority, my responsibilities include promoting STEM education in Arkansas schools and managing STEM professional development and grants.

I am working with Scott Smith and Dr. Bobbie Davis. I am the Technical Planning Specialist for APSRC. I am responsible for implementing and directing the technology services for charter school and APSRC rural district members. There is PD involved and introducing new technology and methododology. We will also work to secure resources to implement technology solutions. So I hope to keep pretty busy. I will be moving the family to Little Rock this summer. I am doing the apartment search this week.
This summit has allowed me to hear a wide variety of topics/presenters that I would never have had an opportunity too.
GREAT interaction among participants...highly thought provoking presentations thus far that have facilitated that interaction!
Great conference. Love the format, the tools, the sharing. I never stop learning from these events and how simple Steve and others make this seem.
If you ever wish to become an innovative leader, educator and one of the most influential person in your life, community and way beyond the magazine, this conference is just the gate to that! Am happy to have been part of it since its invention!
